Terms & Conditions
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the exStrat platform. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms in full and without reservation.
Assumptions used for drafting
These Terms of Use are drafted based on the information available, and rely on the following assumptions:
- The exStrat service is offered in France and accessible to users residing in the EU.
- No investment advice activity, no regulated service under the French Monetary and Financial Code, and no holding of funds or crypto-assets by exStrat.
- Access to and use of the service are subject to prior full acceptance of these Terms of Use.
- The business model is a flat-rate subscription, with prices and additional terms potentially specified at the time of subscription.
- Any information or topics not explicitly covered by the context are completed according to the usual best practices of the sector.
1. Definitions
exStrat SaaS: web platform that helps formalize and simulate profit-taking strategies on crypto-assets, for exclusively educational and informational purposes. It is a portfolio tracking tool and a technical channel for transmitting orders to partner exchanges.
User: any person who has accepted the Terms of Use and uses the exStrat platform.
Crypto-assets: digital assets recorded on a blockchain, which may include, in particular, cryptocurrencies, utility tokens or tokens.
Exchange: third-party platform for exchanging or trading crypto-assets, with which the user holds a personal account.
API: programming interface enabling the technical connection between the user's exchange account and the exStrat platform, under conditions set by the third-party exchange.
Order: instruction given by the user to sell (or, where applicable, buy) a defined quantity of a crypto-asset at a limit price defined on a partner exchange.
Educational templates: standardized scenario examples, provided by exStrat for informational purposes, with no promise of results and no personalized advice.
2. Purpose of the service
exStrat provides a technical interface service for planning, structuring, and transmitting orders related to exit strategies on crypto-assets.
The platform allows users:
- to centralize the read-only view of their portfolio on compatible exchanges,
- to view, for informational purposes, position balances and crypto-asset performance,
- to structure and simulate sales scenarios defined exclusively by the user,
- to manually trigger the transmission of orders to exchanges, via API.
The service is exclusively informational, educational, and illustrative. No investment advice, no personalized recommendation, and no promise of return or performance are provided.
exStrat is not a regulated investment service, nor a financial advisor.
3. Access to the service and account creation
Access to the exStrat platform is conditional upon prior acceptance of these Terms of Use without reservation.
Registration requires providing an email address and creating personal credentials. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential, as well as for any fraudulent or unauthorized use of their account.
Security measures (authentication, account locking, API access management) are implemented in order to preserve the technical security of accounts.
The user undertakes to use exStrat in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any abusive or non-compliant use may result in suspension or deletion of the account.
4. Technical prerequisites
Access to the service requires a compatible browser, a stable Internet connection, and the prior creation of a user account.
Compatibility with certain partner exchanges may evolve and is specified on the platform. The user must have their own API credentials and connect them manually according to the requirements of the relevant exchange. The use of each API remains subject to the terms of use of the third-party exchange (rate limits, rights linked to the API key, etc.).
5. How the features work
Portfolio read
The API connection enables centralization and monitoring of the user's portfolio, with no access to or operation on the funds themselves. Technical connectors are limited to processing the data necessary for modeling and portfolio monitoring.
exStrat does not have access to users' funds or private keys.
Strategies and simulations
The user defines, configures, and formalizes their own selling strategies (choice of assets, levels, prices, volumes). The platform provides only organization and visualization tools, as well as standardized templates for educational purposes.
The service does not personalize or adapt scenarios based on the user's profile or individual data. All simulations rely on parameters manually entered by the user.
Alerts and notifications
Alerts are generated based on thresholds and parameters defined by the user. They are purely informational and technical in nature and do not constitute, at any time, buy or sell recommendations.
Order transmission
The user defines all order parameters (quantity, price, choice of exchange), then explicitly validates each order or each list of orders before technical transmission to the exchange via the API. Transmission occurs only after a voluntary and informed action by the user, on a detailed summary screen.
The platform acts solely as a technical channel for transmitting orders and does not perform any execution, modification, or cancellation after orders are transmitted.
The user may revoke API access or deactivate strategies at any time.
6. No investment advice and no investment service
exStrat provides no personalized investment advice. No content, data, or alerts on the platform should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a crypto-asset.
exStrat is neither a financial advisor, nor a regulated investment service, nor a digital asset service provider (PSAN). No mandate, discretionary management, or individualized advice is implemented.
7. No discretionary management and user control
exStrat does not perform any discretionary portfolio management. All decisions (creation, configuration, validation, order transmission) fall exclusively to the user.
No feature allows exStrat to place orders without explicit consent, to modify order parameters, to select an exchange on behalf of the user, or to perform automated or delayed execution.
8. Order transmission via API and exStrat's strictly technical role
exStrat acts only as a technical channel to route orders to partner exchanges via their APIs, without intervention, management, or enrichment of the transmitted data.
Transmission is carried out exclusively on the user's explicit initiative, after detailed and summary validation of each parameter. There is no automatic generation or suggestion by the platform.
exStrat does not intervene in the execution, cancellation, management, or modification of orders after technical transmission. The provider's role is limited to technical routing and traceability of transmissions.
9. Liability and limitation of liability
The user remains solely responsible for choices, simulations, and investment decisions. Any grouped or individual order transmission is performed at the user's initiative and under the user's exclusive responsibility.
exStrat's liability is limited to proper technical transmission of orders. It cannot be held liable for execution or non-execution, execution delays, technical failures of partner exchanges, price variations, fees charged by exchanges, or any indirect, non-material, or speculative loss resulting from use of the service.
exStrat disclaims any liability for losses related to investment decisions or actions by exchanges. No guarantee of results or personal suitability is provided.
exStrat's liability may in no case be extended beyond mandatory legal obligations.
10. Risks related to crypto-assets
Investing in crypto-assets involves significant risks, including total or partial loss of invested capital, high price volatility, regulatory risks (changes in the legal framework), and technical risks related to exchanges and wallets (security, cyberattacks, unavailability).
Users are strongly encouraged to inform themselves, assess the risks, and consult an independent advisor before any investment decision.
11. Risks related to exchanges, APIs, unavailability, errors, latency
Using API connectors and third-party services (exchanges) exposes the user to the following risks:
- network latency or unavailability,
- order acceptance or rejection,
- technical or functional errors of exchanges,
- API changes or interruptions,
- technical security and access protection.
The user alone assumes the risks related to market operation, exchanges, and technical infrastructure.
12. Security, access, and use of API keys
No API key, login, or credential is stored in cleartext on exStrat servers. Only a technical cryptographic reference may potentially be kept for traceability purposes, without any possible use or re-extraction.
The user remains fully responsible for the security of their API keys, access, and associated permissions management. The user authorizes exStrat to use the API key exclusively for transmitting the orders the user has validated. This authorization does not constitute a mandate, portfolio management, or delegation of authority, and may be revoked at any time.
exStrat does not hold, access, or have any capacity to intervene on users' exchange accounts.
13. Availability, maintenance, service evolution, beta version
exStrat does not guarantee continuous availability of the service, which may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, evolution, or improvement.
Access to certain beta features may be offered on an experimental basis, without any performance guarantee. exStrat's liability is then limited and reinforced for any loss or damage related to the use of non-final versions.
These Terms of Use apply as of their publication online and may be modified unilaterally by exStrat, subject to prior information in the event of a substantial modification.
14. User data, confidentiality, and GDPR
exStrat collects and processes technical logs for security and traceability purposes (IP address, session, nature and status of transmitted orders). Usage statistics are processed in anonymized form to improve the service.
No personal data is used to personalize features or adapt the tool to the user's situation.
The user has a right of access, rectification, and deletion regarding their data, within the limits and conditions defined by the GDPR.
Data processing is described in more detail in the privacy policy to which these Terms of Use refer. It is the user's responsibility to consult this document to understand their rights, legal bases, and retention periods.
15. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights relating to the exStrat software, its interfaces, contents, templates, and documentation belong to the publisher. The user benefits from a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, limited to the duration of registration or subscription, except for any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution.
Copyright © 2026 exStrat, all rights reserved.
16. Term, termination, account deletion
The user agreement is concluded for an indefinite term or for the duration of the subscribed plan. The user may terminate at any time by closing their account. exStrat may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious breach (fraud, security breach, abuse, or violation of the Terms of Use).
Account deletion results in deletion of access for the user profile, subject to retention of logs necessary for legal or security reasons.
17. Price, payment, subscription, invoicing, renewal
The exStrat service is offered under a flat-rate subscription model not correlated with the volume of transmitted orders. Pricing terms (duration, invoicing, trial periods, renewal) are specified on the platform and at the time of subscription.
Any termination by the user or non-renewal results in the removal of access to the platform at the end of the contractual term.
18. Support and contact
Support is available by email, form, or potentially chat, during the hours defined on the platform. exStrat does not guarantee any specific response time and provides no personalized response on investment matters.
19. Compliance and anti-abuse
Any attempt at fraud, technical circumvention, security breach, or abusive use of the service may result in immediate suspension of access, without prejudice to available legal remedies.
The user undertakes to comply with all applicable laws, including, where applicable, KYC/AML obligations imposed by partner exchanges. exStrat reserves the right to cooperate with any competent authority in the event of a request or judicial procedure.
Use of the service for money laundering, sanctions circumvention, or technical attack is strictly prohibited.
20. Applicable law, competent jurisdiction, mediation
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the jurisdiction of the publisher's registered office, without prejudice to protections that may apply to European consumers.
A mediation or amicable dispute resolution mechanism may be offered in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
21. Miscellaneous provisions
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the user and the publisher.
In the event of partial invalidity, the other provisions remain in full force and effect.
Force majeure suspends the performance of contractual obligations for the duration of the event.
exStrat reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use at any time, with prior information to users for any significant modification. Each user is invited to consult the Terms of Use regularly as made available on the platform.
Warning
